by Ray | August 21st, 2004I was invited to X-CON II, which was held at Entertainium Studios.
Ashley Blue once told me there were crabs all over the carpet and furniture, so I was already hesitant.
It also didn’t help that Entertainium is in a section of the city that can be best described as Hell. There were moments where I wasn’t sure if I was in L.A or war-torn Somalia.
But don’t let any of this dissuade you — I’m just a spoiled punk from the rich side of town.
Once inside, I found both the people and the place to be very cool. The layout reminded me of an old Dark Bros. film; A sort-of sexual fun-house, with each room having a different vibe and activity going on. It was hot that day and the place could’ve used a little extra ventilation, but Entertainium is a fully-functional studio and seems like it would be a great place to shoot.
