I went out there and did my first shoot for the website. It was so much fun! And then I found an agent, Skooby at Fresh Talent Management. He got me some work and I flew to L.A. And it just kept going from there. Skooby’s talking a lot of smack about me right now. I wish that he didn’t say some of the things he’s said, but he’s a great guy, no matter what. A lot of people have been claiming that they’re representing me and the only people that haven’t is Redd Rose. I’ve never even met her in my life. But whatever — I’m doing my thing. Everybody always says what a good job I do. So I’m just proving them wrong. All these people who talk shit. Like Jimmy Lifestyles. He’s a creep, dude. He would call me all like “Hey… It’s your uncle Jimmy.” I’m like, ew creep. I’m not your niece. I’m not down with the incest stuff.

RAY: I just met Jimmy. He seems like a decent guy.

KARA: Oh, I mean he’s really nice! Like I was his friend and I would talk to him on the phone all the time, but I don’t know what his problem is. Just don’t call me your niece! Don’t say you’re my uncle. He’s actually friends with Redd Rose which is how all that started.

RAY: Is there anyone in the industry who you would not like to work with?

KARA: There was one guy on my “no” list. But ironically, last night he called me and apologized. He said he wants to shoot me and would pay me anything to work for him again. So I’m going to give him another chance. He’s now off my “no” list because I got that apology call. Joel said he got two phone calls from people who said to warn him about me. Well now, he’s getting phone calls that are good. I just have a goal right now to prove everybody wrong.

RAY: Is that your New Year’s resolution?

KARA: It’s been my resolution since I’ve started! [Laughs]

RAY: Why was this guy on your “no” list?

KARA: Well, I’m not going to say any names… But he had scheduled to shoot me. Skooby and I had broken our contract and he screwed me over on a lot of money. And he wanted me to stay at his house. I had three shoots scheduled for him but because I wouldn’t spend the night at his house, he cancelled two of them on me. But now everything is okay! [Laughs]

RAY: Do you get annoyed with people easily?

KARA: No! I’m actually a really easy-going person. I just chill and have a lot of fun on sets.

RAY: Have you done any features?

KARA: Not yet. I can’t wait for the day that I have an opportunity. It’s been all gonzo so far.

RAY: So wait… You mentioned Fresh Talent Management was your agency, but then you said something about Joel?

KARA: Yeah, I’m with Joel Lawrence right now from GoldStar. I also have a manager, Rick Santini. I work with both of them.

RAY: I see. When did you turn 18?

KARA: April 12, 2005. Send me a birthday present!

RAY: Heh… This interview is your birthday present. So where do you live?

KARA: I live in Woodland Hills. I had a house in Beverly Hills, but I sold it. Me and my ex-boyfriend had a house there, but we broke up.

RAY: You guys must have been rich.

KARA: He inherited money, yeah. He was a rich guy. But that situation was not workin’ for me. He started ruining my career. He didn’t want me to work and I wasn’t ready for that. So I said “fuck you” and left. We broke up about a month and a half ago.

RAY: You don’t seem too upset.

KARA: No… It was very good. I’m happy now. I’m so happy! I’m very proud of myself.

RAY: [Laughs] You sure?

KARA: [Laughs] Yes!

RAY: Okay, then… What do you ultimately hope to do in this business?

KARA: I want my own TV series, which I am working on now. I have a hook-up with HBO. Hopefully they’ll love me. That’s my dream right now.

RAY: What kind of TV series?

KARA: I don’t know. I want a reality show. All about me. Me me me. About my trip out to L.A. and how crazy it’s been out there, and the crazy shit that happens that people only think happens on TV. But it doesn’t! It actually happens.

RAY: How often do you shoot scenes?

KARA: I’ve been working every day. Sometimes twice a day. But I’m in Ohio now. This is my vacation!

RAY: Were you wild growing up?

KARA: Oh yeah. I was wild. I was the rebel who never listened to my parents. I always snuck out of the house.

RAY: Ever been arrested?
