RAY: So… How new are you?
NIKKI: [Laughs] I’ve actually only been talent for a few weeks… I just signed with L.A. Direct. But before that, I did makeup for years.
RAY: How did you make the transition from makeup to porn?
NIKKI: I’m kind of a freak in my private life. I had done makeup for a few girls in the adult industry, and it sounded exciting to me. It seemed like something I’d like to try. I really love sex. I love to get crazy with it… Be adventurous and try new things. I’m not shy at all. Having normal sex in a bed is just boring to me.
RAY: What’s the strangest place you’ve had sex?
NIKKI: Disneyland! On the ride “It’s a Small World”.
RAY: [Laughs] Fucking you would be the only thing that could make that ride tolerable. You know there’s hidden cameras all over that place…
NIKKI: Well then I’m sure they got a show!
RAY: Are you an exhibitionist?
NIKKI: I guess it depends on who you ask. Compared to some people I don’t think I am. One time I worked on this show for MTV. It was a dating show, but I wasn’t on the date. Me and three other girls were naked in this hot tub, drunk off our asses and playing around together. It started on camera… But it got crazier and crazier, and once it got too crazy, they had to turn the cameras off. What we started doing wasn’t exactly TV material. It was pretty hot.
RAY: How young are you?
NIKKI: I’m 24.
RAY: You look a lot younger than that.
NIKKI: Yeah, I hear that a lot. But I definitely don’t act younger than my age.
RAY: Really? I do.
NIKKI: Well, sometimes I suppose…
RAY: Where did you grow up?
NIKKI: I was born & raised in California. I lived in the Antelope Valley, which is about 45 minutes past Valencia.
RAY: Like… Out on Pearblossom Road?
NIKKI: Yeah! Actually, I grew up in Little Rock.
RAY: Wow…
NIKKI: [Laughs] Is that surprising?
RAY: I’m just stunned somebody like you came from that area.
NIKKI: Why? What would you expect?
RAY: Have you ever seen The Hills Have Eyes?
NIKKI: [Laughs] Actually, I was born in Simi Valley, but I was raised in Palmdale/Lancaster, and I lived in Little Rock for eight years. We had a ranch house way out in the middle of nowhere.
RAY: Do any of your friends know you’re doing porn?
NIKKI: I have some friends in the industry, so of course they know. My other friends might have an idea because they know I do nude modeling. But I haven’t confirmed anything.
RAY: What scenes have you shot so far?
NIKKI: I’ve done eight scenes. My first scene was with Francesca Le and Mark Wood. I worked with Jimmy Lifestyles, Adam & Eve, Metro, Devinn Lane, and Naughty America. I’ve done mostly boy/girl, and then a handjob and a solo. I haven’t really done much. I’m taking it slow.
RAY: Is there anybody you would like to work for?
NIKKI: Jenna Jameson. Hands down. I just auditioned to be a contestant on her show for Playboy and I got it! I’m so excited about that. I got to meet Jenna. She’s been my idol for years. Next week I’m shooting for Icey Porn’s VIP Room. I’m not sure what it entails but it sounds exciting.
RAY: So how did you come up with your name?
NIKKI: Well, as you probably know, there’s a mainstream actress named Nikki Cox, who I’ve been told I resemble.
RAY: Growing up, what kind of crowd did you hang around? Were you a bad girl?
NIKKI: No! [Laughs] I was always the good little girl. I was quiet. I sat in the corner and kept to myself. I was a straight A student… I was basically a nerd. I started going to college when I was 15. I wanted to graduate high school early.
RAY: What did you want to do?
NIKKI: [Laughs] I wanted to be a lawyer! I did law school for two and a half years.
RAY: Do you ever want to go back?
NIKKI: No. It’s not for me. I’m not a bitch like that. I can’t lie through my teeth. It’s just not me.
RAY: How has your experience been with porn so far?
NIKKI: I’ve gotten to meet a lot of new and interesting people, which is exciting. So far it’s been a great experience for me. I’ve been kind of sheltered all my life. Some of the negative things are people that hit on me when they can’t take the hint that I’m not interested. Some people just won’t take ‘no’ for an answer. That kind of bothers me.
RAY: Anyone in particular?
NIKKI: There’s this one director, I can’t recall his name. But every time I’d walk by him he’d smack my ass. I really didn’t like that. And when I told him to stop, he started talking crap about me… How I was a ‘prude’, that sort of thing. But I’m not going to just sleep with anybody to get work. I’m more professional than some of the girls I’ve met in this industry.
RAY: What do you see for yourself down the road?
NIKKI: This sounds cheesy, but I would really like to be a contract girl. Well, I’ve been told that sounds cheesy.
RAY: By who?
NIKKI: By the girls that are into the hardcore stuff.
RAY: The gonzo girls.
NIKKI: Yeah.
RAY: Well everybody’s different. Some girls want to just blaze through the industry, bank as much as they can, and disappear. Others try to make a long-term career out of it. It’s all up to the individual. Your photos on the agency site look good.
NIKKI: Really? I’m not too happy with them. Actually, I mostly not happy with my hair and makeup! Especially since I do hair and makeup. But honestly, I think I look better in person.
RAY: What type of people are you attracted to?
NIKKI: Smiles will get me every time… And Italians are my weakness. A nice body definitely. As for girls, I like nice boobs, nice ass, and a rock body.
RAY: Are you afraid to tell your your family about your new career?
NIKKI: I’m not afraid to tell them. I just want to give it time to make sure I really want to do this. I think they sort of suspect it because I do the nude modeling. It’s just new to me and I don’t really know how to present it to them yet. If I get some sort of contract, I might have to tell them. But it’s not going to shock them. I know they’ll be supportive of whatever I do.
RAY: What’s something about you most people wouldn’t expect?
NIKKI: That I’m a porn star! [Laughs]
RAY: Really?
NIKKI: Well, if you saw me walking down the street would you think I do porn?
RAY: I’m not a good person to ask. I’m convinced every girl does porn… My mind is so warped. But I understand what you’re saying.
NIKKI: Honestly, I just wanted to try porn and see what it’s all about. The money is good, and the glamour and fame aren’t bad either. And honestly, I just really like a good fuck… But who doesn’t?
RAY: Are there any fantasies in your personal life that you want to make happen with porn?
NIKKI: Yes. Hooking up with Jenna Jameson. [Laughs] No… But I actually have all sorts of little fantasies always popping into my head. I always come up with something interesting.
RAY: Do you think porn actresses are different from other girls?
NIKKI: Yes. They’re more open. Less catty, usually. Although that depends on who you’re working with. I think they’re more open to sharing than normal girls. Personally, I’ve always know I was different from other girls. That’s probably why I don’t have many girlfriends. For some reason I just don’t get along with catty little girls.
RAY: So if somebody from your past discovers what you’re doing, how do you think they’ll react?
NIKKI: I definitely think they’ll be shocked. It’s funny because I recently spoke to a friend who I went to junior high and elementary school with. I told her what I was doing and she was like “wow! I would have never expected you to do that.”
RAY: Jealous.
NIKKI: [Laughs] Yeah, probably.
RAY: Do you have a website?
NIKKI: Not at the moment. But I’m sure you can find me on all sorts of websites for scenes that I’ve done. I’m still new Ray!
RAY: You should park your domain name… Like, today.
NIKKI: Really?
RAY: Yes. There are scumbags out there who wait for new porn girls to come along so they can register domains out from under them. It sucks and it can get ugly.
NIKKI: Damn, thanks. I’ll register it today.
RAY: Cool. So maybe now when you’re a big contract girl you won’t ignore me.
NIKKI: [Laughs] No! Don’t say that…
RAY: It happens.
NIKKI: Really? Who ignores you?
RAY: No names… But she’s blonde.
NIKKI: [Laughs] Well that narrows it down… I’m a natural redhead. So no worries.
RAY: Natural?
NIKKI: Yes.
